Wandiligong is a town in north-eastern Victoria, Australia. The city is located on Morse Creek and in the Alpine Shire local government area, 6 km (3.7 mi) south of Bright and 330 kilometers (210 miles) northeast of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2016 census had a population of Wandiligong 453.Wandiligong was formed in the 1850s during the Victorian gold rush, and at a time the city was home to 2,000 people. The city as a whole is now registered with the National Trust of Australia as a historic landscape and is home to buildings with historical value, such as Manchester Unity Hall built in 1874.The city is home to one of the largest apple orchards in the southern hemisphere. ....
