Turpan is served by the Lanzhou–Xinjiang High-Speed Railway through the Turpan North Railway Station. Turpan is the junction for two conventional lines, the Lanzhou-Xinjiang and the Southern Xinjiang Railways. China National Highway 312 passes through Turpan. The Turpan Jiaohe Airport is close to Turpan North Railway Station.
