Ravensbourne is a national park in Ravensbourne and Buaraba in southeast Queensland, Australia, 33 km west of Esk. There is a small scenic park on the Great Dividing Range in Lockyer Creek catchment and overlooking the Lockyer Valley. Small remnants of rainforest and wet eucalypt forest that once covered this part of the Great Dividing Range is preserved in Ravensbourne National Park. Red soils of the park's western and southwestern support rainforest containing eucalypt species and palm trees, vines and ferns. Sandy soils in the park's eastern section supports open eucalypt forest. The park is located in the river basins of the Brisbane River and Lockyer Creek. .... Learn more at Wikipedia
