Port of Eden is a small port town located in Twofold Bay, adjacent to the town of Eden, located in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The harbor is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in New South Wales; and wood exports are currently the largest trade port, export 1,007,643 tonnes (991.729 long tons) for the year to June 30, 2011. The largest ship movements occur between Japan, China and Korea. Main imports are breakbulk and machinery and equipment, primarily for the oil and gas industry. Main exports are hardwood and softwood chips, softwood logs, explosives, machinery and equipment for oil and gas industry.Since July 1, 2014, the port has been managed by the Port Authority of NSW, a company owned by the NSW government. ....
