Nordelta district, located at the northern part of the Tigre Partido, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, consists of a gated community consisting originally of 9 blocks, was founded in 1999 and is known as the first ciudadpueblo ( "city-ville" in English) in Argentina; it is close to the cities of General Pacheco y Benavidez. Compared with older gated communities in Pilar, Nordelta natural properties (trees, plants, etc.) appear too "artificial", as Pilar s trees, for example, is very large and mature compared to Nordelta s miniature tree. Because of its size and relatively prosperous population Nordelta been able to develop and maintain a diverse range of commercial and service infrastructure, including swimming pools, football and tennis fields, a shopping center, a health center, a sports club, four private schools, playgrounds, sauna, and more . Over the years there has been a steady development of new residential areas as more and more people moved in.
