Loosdorf is a small town in the district of Melk in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. One of its historic buildings is the Hohe Schule (translation: high school) was founded in 1574 and a few years earlier by the Austrian nobleman Hans Wilhelm von Losenstein (translated: "John William of Losenstein"), lord of the nearby castle Schallaburg. It served as a Lutheran secondary school (gymnasium) from about 1574 until the 1627th Another historic building is Ledóchowska house, where a.o.
