Kingaroy is an agricultural city and town in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. It is approximately 210 kilometers (130 mL) or approximately 2 ½ hours running north of the state capital Brisbane. The city lies on the intersection of D'Aguilar and the Bunya highways. As of June 2018 Kingaroy had a population of 10,398 by 2016 census shows a median age of 37.It is called the "Peanut Capital of Australia" because Australia's largest peanut processing plant located in the city and peanut silos dominate the skyline.
