Hong Kong ((listen) Chinese: 香港, Cantonese: [hœːŋ.kɔ̌ːŋ] (listen)), officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong) is a metropolitan area and the Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China in the east of the Pearl River Delta of South China sea. With over 7.5 million people of different nationalities in a 1104 sq km (426 sq mi) territory, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated places in the world.
