Gloucester Tree is a giant Karri trees in Gloucester National Park of Western Australia. At 58 meters in height, is the world's second highest fire lookout tree (second only to the nearby Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree), and visitors can climb up to a platform in its upper branches of the views of the surrounding Karri forest. It is owned by the Shire of Manjimup. Built in 1947, Gloucester Tree was one of eight karri trees between 1937 and 1952 was relatively easy to climb, so they could be used as a fire lookout spots.
