Fraser Island great walk is a long-distance trails in Queensland, Australia. Hikers must be completely self-sufficient and carry water. The hike is rated easy to moderate on a difficulty scale mostly at sea level and is crossed in one direction. It leads from Dilli Village, an environmental training camp at the University of the Sunshine Coast, the Happy Valley. A full 90-kilometer walk, which contains many smaller walks branching off the main road, can be completed in six to eight days. Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) gives 8 hikers camp where a booking is essential. The scenery during the hike alternates between coastal heaths, mangrove, forest and subtropical rainforest. The crystal-clear lakes and sand dunes are the highlights of this track. Because of the rainy season, it is better not to do this hike from January to March. A 40 kilometers (25 mil) extending walk from Lake Garawongera Arch Cliffs, developed by volunteers in 2010 and increases the length of the main route to 90 kilometers (56 miles). ....
