Tasmanian Legislative Council electoral division
The electoral division of Rosevears is one of the 15 voters, or 'places' in the Tasmanian House of Lords. The division is on the western side of the Tamar River. It is named after the city of Rosevears located on the river bank near Exeter. Voice boundaries includes the towns of Exeter, Rowella, Sidmouth, Legana, Bridge, Gravelly Beach Greens Beach, Beaconsfield, Glengarry, Beauty Point and Clarence Point. The division also includes Launceston suburbs of West Launceston, Riverside, Summer, Trevallyn and Glen Dhu. The present their membership Rosevears independent Kerry Finch who has held the seat since 2002. The next election is due in Rosevears 2020.
